Referment is partnering with a global investment firm to hire a specialist for its Firmwide Data team. The role focuses on managing the data life cycle, vendor relationships, and subscription governance to support investment professionals and operations across regions.

The successful candidate will analyze data usage and costs, maintain audit readiness, and collaborate with teams to implement improvements in data sourcing, contracts, and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree and 1–4 years in data management or related field.
• Interest in how data drives investment, research or business processes.
• Ability to perform recurring operational tasks reliably.
• Professionalism with external vendors; commercially aware.

Responsibilities

• Manage workflows across the data life cycle including sourcing, legal/compliance coordination, vendor relationships, and stakeholder feedback.
• Identify data sources that support business goals and advise investment professionals.
• Negotiate commercial terms while maintaining strong vendor relationships.
• Keep accurate records of subscriptions, entitlements, contracts, and vendor interactions.
• Analyze data usage and costs to consolidate subscriptions and inform renewals.
• Maintain audit readiness and coordinate audits across regions and functions.
