Job summary

General Motors LLC is seeking an EGM Manufacturing Software Integration (EGM MSI) leader to drive standardized software integration processes across GMNA final assembly plants. You will guide a team, ensure testing and flash releases, and improve defect prevention while coordinating with manufacturing, software, and program management teams.

You will report to the Warren Tech Center, travel up to 25% domestically and internationally, and relocation benefits are available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Lead, mentor, and develop engineering talent.
• Apply Electrical First Time Quality principles to identify and prevent defects.
• Standardize work and drive continuous improvement across plants and programs.
• Support vehicle launches, program reviews, readiness activities, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop an engineering team by mentoring team members and aligning goals.
• Oversee Manufacturing Test and Flash Software integration across GMNA final assembly plants.
• Drive improvements through bench testing, VeSCoM checkouts, EFTQ initiatives, and early issue detection.
• Manage program execution and stakeholder engagement through weekly GA Program Reviews and launch readiness.
• Support continuous improvement and issue resolution by protecting plants from EOL defects and escalating roadblocks.
• Foster a forward-thinking culture and build strategic relationships across functions.
