Job summary

The role collaborates with Product Engineering and assembly plants, leads PFMEA activities, and develops build sequences and tooling. Travel up to 30% and onsite at Warren Tech Center.

Qualifications

• Experience launching a GM assembly program.
• Knowledge of manufacturing engineering execution and plant operations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to explain complex issues to diverse teams.
• Familiarity with VIS Mockup or willingness to learn software tools.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate vehicle designs and advocate for manufacturing requirements.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering and assembly plants to align requirements.
• Verify manufacturing requirements and manage deviations.
• Lead virtual studies, PFMEA activities, and vehicle build events.
• Develop build sequences and tooling to support safe production.
• Foster a forward-thinking culture and cross-functional collaboration.
• Build strategic relationships across software, manufacturing, and program management.
