Job summary

Synopsys, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Manufacturing Operations Planning professional to lead global CM coordination, production build forecasts, and inventory management.

You will drive consistency across CM partners, ensure readiness for product introductions, and manage turnkey transitions from design to production. Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing, strong ERP/SAP skills, and a track record of cross-functional leadership and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of experience in global manufacturing operations planning and execution.
• BA/BS in Business Management, Manufacturing Operations, or equivalent.
• Experience with global CM partners, NPI schedules, RMA repair scheduling and document control.
• Ability to publish documented processes and procedures for global manufacturing planning.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Strong planning, organizational and prioritization skills.
• Experience collaborating with NPI Program Management, inventory, quality, procurement and engineering.
• Experience managing small projects including new product deployments.

Responsibilities

• Support Global Business Planning and Master Scheduling aligned with growth strategies.
• Develop, track and execute production build plan forecasts with CM partners.
• Manage CM production readiness and align with forecast deadlines.
• Manage CTB reports with factory as part of monthly S&OP cycles.
• Oversee consigned component material at CM and transition to turnkey solutions.
• Monitor capacity to meet S&OP forecasts.
• Establish and track KPIs to measure CM performance.
• Address daily manufacturing challenges to maintain efficiency.
• Coordinate with 3PL for material movement and inventory control.
• Collaborate with NPI to deploy new SKUs and phase out legacy products.
• Support CARs, SCARs, and Quality Alerts with CM operations.
