Job summary

Amazon Web Services’ Hardware Engineering team seeks Manufacturing Engineers to scale up manufacturing for new mechanical and thermal products across a global network. You will own PFMEAs, control plans, and process flows from startup to end-of-life, driving cross-site standardization and hands-on support during launches.

You will collaborate with ODMs, CMs, and internal teams, traveling internationally as needed to meet throughput and quality goals while maintaining a strong safety and security

Qualifications

• 5 years of high volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments experience.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or similar related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Scale up manufacturing on new mechanical and thermal products across a global network.
• Lead and oversee quality control processes across Contract Manufacturers (CM), Original Design Manufacturers (ODM), and component vendors
• Deliver hands‑on technical support during new product introductions and launches
• Investigate and resolve customer escalations through comprehensive root cause analysis
• Support global operations through regular domestic and international travel (50-75% of time)
• Develop and implement manufacturing test fixtures at the Server and Rack level.
• Drive Lessons Learned and Process Standardization between sites.

Education

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or similar related field or equivalent experience.
