Job summary

Amazon Web Services’ Hardware Engineering team seeks experienced Manufacturing Engineers to scale up production of mechanical and thermal components across a global network. You will own PFMEAs, control plans, and process flows from startup to end of life, while collaborating with ODMs, CMs, and internal teams to meet throughput and quality targets.

Qualifications

• 5 years of high-volume manufacturing operations or sourcing experience.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or similar related field or equivalent experience.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scale up manufacturing on new mechanical and thermal products across a global network.
• Lead and oversee quality control processes across CM, ODM, and component vendors.
• Deliver hands-on technical support during new product introductions and launches.
• Investigate and resolve customer escalations through comprehensive root cause analysis.
• Support global operations through regular domestic and international travel (50-75% of time).
• Develop and implement manufacturing test fixtures at server and rack level.
