Job summary

Amazon Web Services’ Hardware Engineering team seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to scale up mechanical and thermal products across a global network. You will own PFMEAs and control plans, lead quality across CM/ODM vendors, and drive production launches with hands-on fixture development.

The role requires travel, deep manufacturing expertise, and collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams to achieve throughput and quality targets.

Qualifications

• 5 years of high volume manufacturing operations or sourcing experience.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Scale up manufacturing on new mechanical and thermal products across a global network.
• Lead and oversee quality control processes across CM, ODM, and component vendors.
• Deliver hands-on technical support during new product introductions and launches.
• Investigate and resolve customer escalations through root cause analysis.
• Travel 50–75% domestically and internationally to support global operations.
• Develop and implement manufacturing test fixtures at server and rack levels.
• Drive lessons learned and process standardization between sites.
