Job summary
Otis is seeking a senior sourcing leader to develop and execute global category strategies for Machines & Sub-Components. You will oversee regional commodity leaders, drive cost reductions, and ensure supply continuity across Americas, EMEA, and China while aligning with Otis roadmaps.
The role requires 10+ years in strategic sourcing, strong technical knowledge of motors, gearless machines, encoders, and related electromechanical systems, and a proven ability to lead global teams in a matrix
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, manufacturing, operations, or engineering leadership.
- Strong technical understanding of electric motors, gearless machines, encoders, permanent magnets, brakes, machining, castings/forgings, and electromechanical systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop global sourcing roadmaps supporting business growth and localization.
- Lead executive-level supplier negotiations and strategic partnerships.
- Drive productivity, cost reduction, and working capital targets through sourcing strategies.
