Job summary

NEOTech is seeking a Global Commodity Manager for Mechanical & Electromechanical Components to lead global sourcing, supplier strategy, cost management, and supply-chain development across multiple sites.

You will manage metals, plastics, displays, custom transformers, magnetics, and other electromechanical parts, driving cost reductions, supplier consolidation, dual sourcing, and performance improvements with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Program Management, and Supply Chain teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related technical field.
• 7+ years of experience in commodity management, strategic sourcing, supply chain, procurement, or supplier development.
• Strong experience with custom fabricated parts or EMS related manufacturing commodities.
• Experience leading RFQ/RFP processes, supplier negotiations, and commercial agreements.
• Strong analytical and cost modeling skills with the ability to perform TCO and market analysis.
• Knowledge of fabrication technologies, manufacturing processes, materials, lead-times, and supplier capabilities.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and supplier management skills.
• Ability to travel globally based on business needs (up to 50%), include travel to Juárez, Mexico, Asia-Pacific, and North America.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global commodity strategies.
• Drive supplier consolidation, dual sourcing, risk mitigation, and long-term supply-chain resiliency.
• Identify, evaluate, qualify, and develop competitive global suppliers.
• Establish strategic supplier partnerships focused on pricing, capacity, technology, quality, lead time, and service performance.
• Lead RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, and competitive sourcing activities across assigned commodities.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, rebates, tooling, NRE, MOQ, lead times, inventory programs, and agreements.
• Drive annual cost reductions, productivity savings, and cost-avoidance initiatives.
• Collaborate with Engineering and suppliers on DFM, manufacturability, and cost reduction.
• Partner with Quality on supplier performance, audits, and continuous improvement.
• Own strategic supplier relationships and drive cross-functional initiatives to improve cost, quality, and delivery.
