Job summary

BridgeNet in Chicago is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our Control Tower team, exposing you to multi-modal global logistics for a Fortune 500 client portfolio and the execution of 4PL strategies.

You will plan transportation, monitor exceptions, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders, serving as the primary liaison for transport-related activities and driving cost-effective, compliant outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or related field required or preferred.
3–5 years of supply chain/logistics experience or equivalent.
Experience with transportation planning and carrier management is desirable.

Responsibilities

Operate and leverage BridgeNet's TMS (Xonar) and visibility platforms for daily execution.
Own multi-modal transport planning and consolidation to balance cost and service needs.
Analyze 3PL routing guides and select carriers with a cost-conscious approach.
Manage spot quote process end-to-end with timely responses.
Identify and resolve shipment exceptions to protect client interests.
Serve as client-facing and carrier-facing point of contact for transport-related communication.
Monitor events for compliance and follow up on gaps with urgency.
Lead cargo claims process from identification to resolution.
Contribute to continuous improvement within the Control Tower.
