Job summary

V2X Inc. in Indianapolis seeks a Logistics Specialist I to join the SOC or DOC teams. The role requires learning government contract documentation, producing deliverables such as the DD250 and DD1149, and ensuring accuracy for billing.

You will collaborate across receiving, shipping, and inventory controls in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, at least 2 years in MRP planning and logistics, and experience with SAP, WAWF, and S4 shipping

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience evaluating MRP requirements and planning of tasking.
Knowledge of Logistics practices.
SAP applications including Horizon, S4
DFARS Appendix F.
Knowledge and functionality of Wide Area Workflow (WAWF).
S4 Shipping processes.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are a must.

Responsibilities

Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and multi-tasking work environment.
Interface with a wide variety of internal and external customers, peers, and management to deliver results.
Demonstrate tact and diplomacy in assisting customers.
Responsible decision making with minimal supervision.
Intermediate knowledge & experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
Perform research and analysis in a variety of systems.
Create a shipment and review for WAWF.
Adhere to customer requirements for the delivery of contractual deliverables.
Be flexible and adaptive to learning new tasks.
