Job summary

Okuma America Corporation in the United States seeks a Traffic Coordinator to ensure accurate, timely delivery of machines, options, accessories, and related equipment. Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred but not required.
• 2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation coordination, shipping administration, customer service, or related role.
• Experience with domestic and international shipping processes preferred.
• Familiarity with export documentation, bills of lading, customs requirements, and freight coordination.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with ERP systems, purchasing processes, or inventory management systems is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Manage machine shipments and oversee the release process to distributors and customers.
• Coordinate shipments for stock, consignment, lease, and regional show machines.
• Ensure shipments are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Coordinate logistics and documentation with distributors, customers, suppliers, freight carriers, and customs brokers.
• Prepare and process release documentation and export paperwork; generate bills of lading.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and documentation.
• Coordinate and track machine movement requests including consignment/lease, show machines, returns, and repossessions.
• Collaborate with internal departments to execute movements efficiently and document them.
• Process purchasing and freight-related transactions; monitor costs and assist with payments and records.
