Super Micro Computer is seeking a Sr. Logistics Project Manager in San Jose to ensure on-time material shipping and delivery while coordinating with global teams and suppliers. The role focuses on optimizing freight transportation and aligning internal resources to support growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, International Business, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in computer system applications, including three years of experience as coordinator/manager.
• Ability to work efficiently with cross-functional teams and coordinate with Sales, Operations, Purchasing, and Engineering to optimize delivery model.
• Must have PC or Server Hardware experience and knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the material shipping and delivery schedule.
• Knowledge of national and international import/export regulations and ability to troubleshoot international freight issues.
• Coordinate with transportation suppliers on delivery rate and routing.
• Collaborate with internal teams to recommend optimal transportation modes, routing, equipment or frequency.
• Establish or monitor supply chain performance measurement systems.
• Monitor incoming materials and outgoing finished products to ensure on-time delivery.
• Ensure partners in the supply chain operate efficiently to maintain smooth operations.
• Maintain metrics, reports, process documentation, and training/safety records.
