Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a Sr. Logistics Project Manager to ensure the accuracy of material shipping and delivery schedules by working closely with internal and external teams. The role focuses on integrating resources to support growth and maximize performance across the supply chain.

The position emphasizes coordinating with Sales, Operations, Purchasing, and Engineering to optimize delivery models while maintaining comprehensive records and performance metrics for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, International Business, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in computer system applications, including three years of experience as coordinator/manager.
• Ability to work efficiently with cross-functional teams and coordinate with Sales, Operations, Purchasing, and Engineering to optimize delivery model.
• Skill sets: coordination, active listening, critical thinking, reading comprehension, writing, monitoring, service orientation, time management, judgment and decision making and active learning.
• Need to have PC or Server Hardware experience and knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the material shipping and delivery schedule.
• Knowledge of national and international import/export regulations and ability to troubleshoot issues in international freight transportation.
• Coordinate with transportation suppliers on delivery rate and routing.
• Coordinate internal teams on optimal transportation modes, routing, equipment, or frequency.
• Establish or monitor supply chain-based performance measurement systems.
• Control and follow up of incoming materials and outgoing finished products to ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain and update metrics, reports, process documentation, and training/safety records.
