Job summary

Supermicro in San Jose, CA, seeks an experienced procurement and supply chain leader to drive vendor management, NPI support, and inventory planning. You will negotiate with global suppliers, manage long lead-time items, and optimize stock levels while collaborating with engineering and PM teams in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead negotiations, manage supplier relationships, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness across the supply chain.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Material Management, Manufacturing, or related field
8+ years of experience in materials management, procurement, and supply chain operations
Mandarin speaker preferred to work with CM's in Asia

Responsibilities

Support new product development (NPI) through procurement and vendor management.
Source, purchase, and negotiate components while managing long lead-times.
Plan inventory levels and coordinate supply chain to ensure availability
