Job summary

Unimacts Global seeks a Logistics Project Manager to coordinate shipments from release to final delivery. You will ensure schedules, track shipments, and maintain accurate documentation across domestic and international movements.

Responsibilities include customs coordination, FTZ/bonded support, and coordinating with carriers and warehouses to meet customer requirements. Strong Excel skills, detail orientation, and ability to manage multiple projects are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or project logistics.
• Experience coordinating ocean freight, trucking, warehousing, and final-mile deliveries.
• Familiarity with U.S. import clearance processes and FTZ/bonded workflows.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to maintain operational trackers and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage logistics projects from shipment release to final delivery.
• Develop and maintain delivery schedules based on material readiness and vessel dates.
• Track shipments domestically and internationally; maintain project trackers and reports.
• Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, carriers, warehouses, and other vendors.
• Review arrival notices, monitor customs clearance, and provide delivery orders and docs.
• Coordinate final-mile trucking, delivery appointments, and customer site requirements.
• Prepare and distribute bills of lading, delivery schedules, and shipping instructions.
• Maintain communication with customers, including kickoff meetings and weekly updates.
• Update shipment status, packing slips, and delivered quantities in systems and trackers.
• Review invoices for accuracy against rates and PO terms; coordinate discrepancies with Finance.
• Monitor transportation costs and identify unnecessary detention or demurrage charges.
• Work with cross-functional teams to resolve project issues and improve processes.
