Job summary

IM Global LLC is seeking a Project Management Specialist to optimize international logistics operations. You will analyze operational data, forecast capacity, and drive process improvements across warehousing, logistics partners, and customer service teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management or a closely related field.
• 24 months of experience as a Project Management Specialist or related position within the international logistics industry.
• Working knowledge of project management in international logistics execution, warehouse operations, and customs compliance requirements.
• Experience using project planning and scheduling tools (e.g., Gantt charts, Microsoft Project, or similar tools) to support operational project coordination.
• Familiarity with R.

Responsibilities

• Analyze operational data and capacity forecasts to identify service bottlenecks and develop process improvement strategies to enhance efficiency and service performance.
• Coordinate with warehouse operations, logistics partners, and customer service teams to ensure alignment of operational objectives and adherence to service standards.
• Prepare and present operational reports, performance metrics, and updates to management to support strategic planning and decision-making.
• Utilize project management tools, including Microsoft Project and Gantt charts, to plan, schedule, and monitor timelines, resource allocation, and workflow execution across cross-functional teams.
• Perform risk assessments and cost-benefit analyses to identify operational risks and recommend solutions to improve cost efficiency and budget control.
• Coordinate with internal departments and third-party logistics providers to support the execution of logistics-related initiatives, including order fulfillment, freight forwarding, transshipment, customs clearance, and returns management.
• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of documentation and collaborate with carriers and service vendors to minimize delays and maintain compliance with applicable regulations.
