AbbVie Inc. in Chicago seeks a Customer Logistics Planner to coordinate end-to-end outbound shipments in a multi-party manufacturing model. You will create and manage STOs and deliveries in SAP, ensure accurate documentation, and maintain shipment visibility to protect supply continuity and customer service.

You will collaborate with Global Supply Planning, Transportation, Finance, Quality, and external partners, resolve delays, and drive continuous improvement in processes as volumes grow.

Formación

• Bachelor's or master's degree in logistics, supply chain, operations, business management, or related discipline.
• Minimum three years of relevant experience in logistics, customer logistics, order management, supply chain execution, or similar environment.
• Hands-on ERP experience, preferably SAP, including order, delivery, shipment, or inventory transactions.
• Experience with international shipping documentation, export processes, customs-related requirements, and cross-functional stakeholder coordination.
• Fluent written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage for international market support.

Responsabilidades

• Order and delivery execution: Create and manage second-leg STOs and outbound deliveries in SAP; update weights and measurements; create packing lists; post goods issue for departed shipments; provide shipment data for invoicing.
• Shipping and export documentation: Prepare pro forma invoices and other shipment docs for customs and payment; check completeness and archive docs.
• Shipment control and visibility: Maintain shipping forecasts, monitor open orders, review allocation issues, elevate overdue or at-risk shipments.
• Exception management: Coordinate resolution of delays, booking constraints, documentation gaps, and urgent requests with Transportation and other functions.
• Stakeholder coordination: Daily alignment with third-party manufacturer, Global Supply Planning, Transportation, affiliates, and other partners; engage with carriers as required.
• Affiliate and customer service: Provide updates, align with holiday schedules, and support affiliates with complex export and transport needs.
• Performance and governance: Support reviews with shipment data, KPI reporting, month-end activities, audit readiness, and process controls.
• Continuous improvement: Identify gaps, improve standard work, and contribute to scalable solutions as volumes grow.
