Job summary

You will work with internal and external plants, manage shipments, and support strategic and operational planning activities, including hedging and inventory controls, in a fast-paced global environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master level in operations, supply chain or business management.
• Must possess high-level analytical skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication is required.
• Excellent organizational skills are required.
• Proven strong problem solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to step into leadership role when required.

Responsibilities

• Daily contact with one or more supply plants (internal and external) to coordinate the supply of finished products, bulk, active pharmaceutical ingredients or supporting materials.
• Support financial plan/LRP cycles by providing required data and input to long-term supply strategy.
• Coordinate and process inbound and outbound shipments.
• Ensure SAP and JDA are kept up to date with the latest information and that customers are informed timely of supply updates and risks.
• Participate in plant meetings to review and improve performance.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and expectations.
• Drive continuous improvements and participate in initiatives led by other colleagues.
• Offer innovative ideas and solutions to maximize business opportunities and to address challenges in the Global Supply Planner function.
• Execute financial processes including hedging, inventory reserve review, and product scrapping.
• Support artwork changes by coordinating related supply activity.
• Create impact with ideas for the larger organization and anticipate and respond to changes.
• Influence others when needed through use of SME knowledge and enterprise view.
• Support S&OE process through root-cause analysis, problem solving, and creative thinking to drive resolution.
• Onboard/train new employees
• Act as a project lead when required.
