Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in the USA seeks an experienced Operations Supervisor (CUO) to oversee inbound/outbound activities, labor management, and customer communication. You will drive scheduling, space utilization, and training under the Operations Manager.

Responsibilities include staff development, KPI achievement, safety compliance, and collaboration with client teams to meet service and cost objectives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years in logistics/distribution.
• At least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Preferred: MHE certification/knowledge of basic MHE operation.
• Forklift training completion required.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily staff meetings to review tasks and safety.
• Inform senior management and clients of critical issues.
• Develop systems for safe, profitable operation and KPI achievement.
• Drive cost-saving measures and efficiency improvements.
• Manage staffing, training, and performance evaluations.
• Plan daily work schedules and allocate tasks.
