Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Goodyear, USA, seeks a General Manager of Operations to lead the designated operation's strategy, performance, safety, and financial results. This role interfaces with clients on proposals and contracts while driving continuous improvement and Lean initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 7 years’ experience in logistics/distribution.
• 5 years’ leadership experience in logistics/supply chain roles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations to meet safety, productivity, and profitability targets.
• Lead budgeting, financial controls, and cost management for the operation.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and lead business reviews.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, Lean and Six Sigma, and ISO compliance.
• Mentor and develop site leadership and staff; communicate mission and core values.
