Job summary

MKS Inc. in the United States seeks a Global Logistics Manager to lead domestic and international transportation operations, with a focus on parcel strategy, import/export execution, carrier management, and cost optimization.

You will partner across Supply Chain, Global Trade Management, Procurement and Finance to improve service, compliance, and governance, while driving TMS initiatives, spend analyses, and carrier negotiations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive transportation or logistics experience, including hands-on parcel and international import/export responsibility; global experience preferred.
• 3+ years leading teams, major workstreams, or cross-functional logistics programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, International Trade, Engineering, or related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• Experience managing parcel programs with carriers such as UPS, FedEx, DHL Express, and regional providers.
• Strong knowledge of parcel pricing, surcharges, dimensional weight, carrier networks, customs clearance, and cross-border transportation.
• Proven experience with parcel RFPs, carrier negotiations, contract optimization, and transportation cost analysis.
• Experience with freight audit/payment and TMS implementations or provider transitions.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, project-management, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to travel as needed (approximately 10–25%).

Responsibilities

• Lead global parcel strategy and operations across domestic, international, and cross-border networks.
• Optimize parcel contracts, lead sourcing, RFPs, rate modeling, negotiations, and carrier implementations.
• Manage international import/export transportation and customs-related exceptions.
• Oversee transportation providers across parcel, freight forwarding, air, ocean, truckload, and LTL.
• Establish routing standards, carrier scorecards, KPIs, QBRs, and corrective actions.
• Oversee freight audit and payment controls, including invoice accuracy and contract compliance.
• Lead TMS and/or freight audit/payment technology projects from requirements to deployment.
• Analyze transportation spend and shipment data to identify savings and opportunities.
• Develop transportation governance, SOPs, training, and change-management practices.
