Job summary

Expeditors International in the United States seeks an intern to support the movement of freight and provide exceptional customer service. You will gain hands-on exposure to global logistics, Expeditors systems, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include tracking shipments, processing documentation, and collaborating with internal and external customers while delivering timely, accurate information.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.
• Adherence to Operational Process Standards.
• Daily tracking of shipments and corresponding documents.
• Work with the team to provide solutions to customers.
• Comply with customer requirements and procedures.
• Proactively communicate timely status updates to customers.
• Communicate with international and domestic customers and offices.
• Update shipment information in the Expeditors system.
• Track and trace international cargo.
• Timely settlement of shipments and filing of Tariffs.
• Preparation of reports, as required.
• Prepare and process international documentation.
• Comply with US and foreign regulations.
