Expeditors in Chesapeake, VA is seeking motivated interns to join a global logistics leader. You will support daily shipment tracking, prepare international documentation, and provide exceptional customer service to internal and external clients.

This internship offers hands-on exposure to Expeditors systems, operational standards, and real-world problem solving in a fast-paced environment. No visa sponsorship is provided for this role.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.
• Adherence to Operational Process Standards.
• Daily tracking of shipments and corresponding documents.
• Work with the team to provide solutions to customers.
• Comply with customer requirements and procedures.
• Proactively communicate timely status updates to customers.
• Communicate with international and domestic customers and offices.
• Update shipment information in the Expeditors system.
• Track and trace international cargo.
• Timely settlement of shipments and filing of Tariffs.
• Preparation of reports, as required.
• Prepare and process international documentation.
• Comply with US and foreign regulations.
