Job summary

Chromalox is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to plan and coordinate international and domestic shipments. You will manage documentation, routes, and schedules, and liaise with customers, brokers, and federal agencies to ensure compliance and timely delivery.

You will work with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, maintain records, and support TPM initiatives while ensuring accurate packing, labeling, and transportation arrangements.

Qualifications

• Understand import rules and regulations of foreign countries and US export rules.
• Experience with customs regulations, tariffs, and import/export documentation.
• Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and logistics software.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate import/export shipments and domestic shipments.
• Prepare and review shipping documentation, routes, schedules, and costs.
• Interface with brokers, importers, and US CBP for documentation and compliance.
• Coordinate ocean, air, and ground transportation methods with customers and carriers.
• Maintain accurate shipping records and respond to shipment status inquiries.
• Operate shipping equipment and support TPM-driven maintenance when needed.
• Collaborate with teams to improve quality and efficiency in logistics processes.
