Slalom is hiring for a Logistics & Distribution role in the Global Supply Chain team. The position focuses on developing innovative logistics strategies, optimizing networks, and guiding clients through transformative initiatives using data and technology.

The role requires consulting experience with strong communication across executive levels and proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel. A hybrid or on-site engagement with clients across multiple industries is typical.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Transportation Management and Warehouse Management.
• Deep understanding of logistics; consulting background or 3PL experience.
• Experience implementing logistics systems (TMS, WMS, OMS) like Oracle, SAP, Blue Yonder, Manhattan, E2Open.
• Experience leading multiple initiatives and cross-functional teams.
• Industries: Life Sciences, Retail, CPG, Manufacturing, Technology, Aerospace & Defense, Automotive.
• Ability to communicate across levels: C‑Suite to operators.
• Strong critical thinking, problem solving and judgment.
• Entrepreneurial energy, creativity, empathy and leadership.
• Understanding of supply chain operating models, processes, data, metrics.
• Experience presenting complex ideas to senior executives.
• Proficient in MS PowerPoint and Excel.
• Agile delivery, data analytics, and change management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create the future of logistics and distribution through innovative thought leadership and solutions.
• Develop and implement logistics and supply chain strategies to optimize network performance and efficiency.
• Partner with clients to transform business models and customer fulfillment using emerging technologies.
• Diagnose opportunities via interviews, workshops and data insights to deliver value swiftly.
• Execute across analytics, technology, process and operating model design to deliver holistic solutions.
• Maintain strong client relationships as a trusted advisor and drive satisfaction.
• Collaborate with practice leadership to drive sales opportunities and practice development.
• Provide expert guidance on best practices and emerging trends in logistics and supply chain management.
