Job summary

Slalom’s Global Supply Chain team helps clients transform their logistics and distribution networks with innovative strategies and pragmatic solutions. The role focuses on optimizing transportation, warehouse, and network design, leveraging analytics and technology to deliver rapid business value.

You will lead multi-disciplinary initiatives, work with senior client teams, and help shape the practice through sales support and thought leadership.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in transportation, warehousing, network design, inventory optimization or product management.
• Background in consulting or working with third-party logistics providers.
• Experience implementing and/or using logistics systems (TMS, WMS, OMS) such as Oracle, SAP, Blue Yonder, Manhattan Associates, E2Open.
• Proven success leading multiple initiatives and cross-functional teams to improve supply chain performance or deliver new capabilities.
• Experience in Life Sciences, Retail, CPG, Manufacturing, Technology, Aerospace & Defense, Automotive industries.
• Ability to communicate and lead across levels from C-Suite to operators.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem solving, with mature judgment.
• Entrepreneurial energy, creativity, empathy and leadership.
• Understanding of supply chain operating models, processes, data, metrics, and roles.

Responsibilities

• Create the future of logistics and distribution through innovative thought leadership and solutions.
• Develop and implement logistics and supply chain strategies to optimize network performance and efficiency.
• Partner with clients to transform business models and customer fulfillment using emerging technologies.
• Conduct interviews, workshops, and data insights to diagnose opportunities.
• Execute across analytics, technology, process and operating model design to deliver holistic solutions.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted advisor and drive satisfaction.
• Collaborate with leadership to pursue opportunities and develop the practice.
• Provide guidance on best practices and trends in logistics and supply chain management.
