Job summary

Slalom is hiring for a Logistics & Distribution role within its Global Supply Chain team in the United States. The role focuses on creating innovative logistics strategies and transforming distribution networks to improve agility, resilience, and margins.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in transportation, warehouse management, and network design, with experience in consulting or collaborating with 3PLs and implementing TMS/WMS/OMS systems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in transportation, warehousing, network design or related logistics fields.
• Background in consulting or working with third-party logistics providers.
• Experience implementing logistics systems (TMS, WMS, OMS) such as Oracle, SAP, Blue Yonder, Manhattan Associates, E2Open, etc.
• Proven success leading cross-functional initiatives to improve supply chain performance or deliver new capabilities.
• Industries include Life Sciences, Retail, CPG, Manufacturing, Tech, A&D, Automotive.
• Strong ability to communicate and lead across levels including C-Suite.
• Advanced understanding of operating models, data, metrics and roles.

Responsibilities

• Create the future of logistics and distribution through thought leadership and solutions.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize network performance and efficiency.
• Partner with clients to transform business models and customer fulfillment using emerging tech.
• Diagnose opportunities from interviews, workshops and data insights.
• Execute across analytics, technology, process and operating model design to craft holistic solutions.
• Build strong client relationships and act as trusted advisor for high satisfaction.
• Support sales pursuits and practice development with leadership collaboration.
• Provide guidance on best practices and trends in logistics and supply chain.
