Job summary

Slalom is hiring for a Logistics & Distribution leader in San Diego to help clients transform their supply chains through innovative strategies and solutions. You’ll lead multi‑disciplinary efforts across analytics, technology, process, and operating models to deliver measurable business value.

The role requires 8+ years in transportation, warehousing, or network design, with consulting or LSP experience. Strong client relationships and executive communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in transportation, warehousing, network design, inventory optimization or technology product management.
• Consulting experience or work with third‑party logistics providers is required.
• Experience implementing or using logistics systems (TMS, WMS, OMS) such as Oracle, SAP, Blue Yonder, Manhattan Associates, E2Open, etc.
• Ability to lead multiple initiatives and cross‑functional teams to improve supply chain performance or deliver new capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Create the future of logistics and distribution through innovative thought leadership and solutions.
• Develop and implement logistics and supply chain strategies to optimize network performance and efficiency.
• Partner with clients to transform business models and customer fulfillment using emerging technologies.
• Use interviews, workshops and data insights to diagnose opportunities and deliver business value quickly.
• Execute across analytics, technology, process and operating model design to create holistic solutions.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted advisor and drive satisfaction.
• Collaborate with leadership to pursue sales opportunities and practice development.
• Provide expert guidance on best practices and trends in logistics and supply chain management.
