Job summary

Expeditors in Piperton, TN is seeking a detail-oriented logistics administrator to support daily order processing, data entry, and reporting. You will coordinate with warehouse teams and customers to ensure accurate handling of receiving, shipping, and inventory records.

A background in transportation processes, proficiency with MS Excel/Word, and fluent English are required. 6 months to 1 year of related experience and a professional, proactive attitude are preferred.

Qualifications

• Understanding transportation process of all models is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Daily process and input of all customer orders and distribution accounts.
• Provide daily operational reports that are accurate and timely.
• Generate all related paperwork and necessary information for customer work orders, check orders for special requests, and post inventory records.
• Perform accurate and timely data entry for receiving, order allocation, shipping and inventory management.
• Rate domestic transportation bills.
• Trace orders as required and notify customers of activity.
• Ensure accurate and timely client and vendors billing.
• Maintain damage records and backorder logs.
• Provide warehouse staff with documents needed to complete receiving and shipping.
• Act as liaison between the warehouse and the customer regarding invoicing and credit information.
• Maintain relationships with vendors including trucking companies.
• Provide support with miscellaneous projects, filing and research.
• Comply with internal policies and external regulations; escalate problems to management when needed.
