Job summary

ALOIS Solutions is seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator I to manage international shipments, export compliance, and cross-border operations. You will collaborate closely with freight forwarders, carriers, customs, and internal teams to ensure regulatory adherence and timely delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3+ years in international logistics, with knowledge of EAR, ITAR, FTR, USMCA, and C-TPAT. Hybrid schedule; Elgin, IL residents preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Business, or related field.
• 3+ years of international logistics, export operations, or global trade compliance.
• Knowledge of EAR, ITAR, FTR, USMCA, and C-TPAT regulations.
• Experience with ACE/AESDirect, Oracle ERP, and Global Trade Management systems.
• Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be local to Elgin, IL area and available for hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate international shipments and export compliance activities.
• Prepare and review commercial invoices, air waybills, bills of lading, and country-of-origin documentation.
• File export declarations through ACE/AESDirect and obtain ITNs.
• Conduct restricted and denied party screening in accordance with export regulations.
• Coordinate cross-border shipments to Canada and Mexico, including USMCA and CARM requirements.
• Ensure compliance with C-TPAT standards and dangerous goods shipping requirements, including lithium-ion batteries.
• Monitor shipments, resolve customs holds and delays, and support timely delivery.
• Collaborate with freight forwarders, carriers, customs officials, and internal stakeholders.
