Job summary

Rogers Corporation in Connecticut is seeking a Shipping and Logistics Coordinator to coordinate and oversee the shipping and logistics operations, ensuring on-time delivery to customers and accurate processing of shipments. You will collaborate with internal teams and freight carriers, prepare documentation, track shipments, and support inventory accuracy through cycle counts and SAP transactions.

This full-time role requires 1+ year experience in shipping/logistics and a high school diploma,

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent; equivalent work experience considered.
1+ year experience in shipping and logistics coordination.
Familiarity with shipping software and SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and oversee shipping and logistics operations to ensure on-time delivery.
Prepare shipping documentation and customs paperwork, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Communicate with freight carriers to arrange pickups, track shipments and resolve delays.
Monitor inventory levels and liaise with the warehouse team to ensure availability for shipping.
Perform routine cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies to support accuracy.
Complete PID closures and SAP transactions within SAP.
Collaborate with internal teams to optimize shipping processes and other duties as assigned.
