Job summary

Blizzard Entertainment seeks a Localization Technical Solution Architect to scale our global localization ecosystem. You’ll design integration solutions, streamline workflows, and drive automation across content pipelines to deliver culturally relevant player experiences.

This hybrid role includes on-site Irvine, CA and remote work elements. You’ll collaborate with Localization, Engineering, Production, IT, and external vendors to implement scalable solutions using APIs, ML-enabled platforms,

Qualifications

• 5+ years in localization engineering or similar role.
• Strong program management and communication skills.
• Experience with localization workflows, content handoff, and TM management.
• Familiar with MemoQ, Smartling, XTM, Gridly.
• Knowledge of data formats such as XLIFF, TMX, JSON, XML, CSV.
• OAuth 2.0 and SSO security approaches.
• Scripting or automation experience, preferably Python.
• Familiarity with cloud environments such as Azure.

Responsibilities

• Communicate technical concepts, trade-offs, risks, and status to stakeholders.
• Establish governance standards for integrations and automated workflows.
• Support ML-powered capabilities like NMT and ML-assisted QA in workflows.
• Create detailed documentation: requirements, architecture diagrams, plans.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve localization quality and speed.
• Lead integration initiatives from discovery to rollout.
• Collaborate with Localization, Engineering, Production, IT and vendors.
• Design integrations across TMS, CAT, CMS, DAM, and ML-enabled platforms using APIs.
