Responsibilities

As an AI Localization Intern at Blizzard, you will immerse yourself in the dynamic field of game localization, specifically focusing on developing and deploying AI solutions. Your role will center on creating and refining AI-driven systems that streamline localization processes and improve translation quality.

Internship Opportunities

All internships will be conducted in-person. Hosting managers will determine when and how often interns work in the office Monday‑Friday. Relocation services and a living stipend are provided to all interns.

Qualifications & Experience

• Must be pursuing a masters and graduating December 2025 – July 2026
• Available to start in late‑September
• Currently residing in the US or open to relocating oneself to the US
• Exhibits learning agility; has the ability to think differently, and/or grasp and apply new skills and concepts
• Approaches problems in a clear, well‑organized, and solutions‑oriented manner
• Works well with others and contributes to team tasks
• Able to effectively communicate problems, solutions, needs, or priorities
• Is engaged, seeks to learn, and is able to manage time effectively
• Candidate must apply with a resume and code samples
• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, or a related field
• Experienced with AI & Machine Learning. Familiar with frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch, with experience in developing and fine‑tuning AI models
• Comfortable working with databases (e.g., SQL), creating dashboards, and interpreting complex data to improve AI model performance and localization effectiveness
• Experience with Cloud and Automation Tools (Azure AI services, containerization, cloud‑based storage, etc.)
• Adaptable and a quick learner. Ready to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment, collaborating with diverse teams and contributing to innovative projects
• Shows a genuine interest in video games and understands the importance of delivering high‑quality translations to a global player base

Compensation

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $20.00 – $50.00 hourly. This range reflects the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. Employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
