Job summary

Xsolla is seeking an Operations Engineer to join the Global Technical Operations team. The role focuses on monitoring production systems, investigating incidents, and improving detection and response across a global platform.

You will work closely with SREs, DevOps, and gaming partners to keep services running smoothly and communicate updates clearly during outages. You will also develop automation, consolidate incident data, and help turn learnings into actionable improvements for game

Qualifications

Gaming industry experience and live operations understanding.
4+ years in SRE, DevOps, production operations, or NOC.
Strong troubleshooting and investigation across logs, traces, metrics.
Hands-on Datadog experience and ability to read/instrument dashboards.
Scripting in Python, Go, or Bash; automation mindset.
Clear written and verbal English communication and incident reporting.

Responsibilities

Monitor the GTO Operational Dashboard in Datadog and detect anomalies.
Triage and investigate incidents; create Jira tickets and route to correct teams.
Own low-severity incidents end-to-end; escalate when needed.
Support the TSO Lead during major incidents; surface real-time data and actions.
Draft incident communications for Slack, stakeholders, and status pages.
Analyze incident trends during non-incident periods for reports.
Draft PIRs and track action items post-incident reviews.
Build and maintain operational automation and runbooks.
