Job summary

Global Payments Inc. is seeking an AppOps Support Engineer to keep our critical applications and infrastructure reliable across environments. You will drive incidents from detection to resolution, analyze logs and metrics, and implement automated improvements.

You will work with Product, Engineering, DevOps and QA teams to reduce operational risk and enhance platform stability in a fast-paced, global payments environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in production support or technical operations for enterprise applications.
• Proficient in Linux/UNIX, SQL, and scripting for diagnostics and data validation.
• Ability to investigate logs, metrics and traces to find root causes and prevent recurrence.

Responsibilities

• Drive production issues from investigation to resolution with timely communications.
• Own application, infrastructure, and batch health across multi-environments.
• Identify and reduce recurring operational risks through incident insights.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, DevOps, QA and support teams.
