Job summary

Twelve Labs is seeking a Legal Operations & Compliance Manager to build and run the operational backbone of our Legal function. You will own systems, processes, and records across contract operations, governance, outside counsel management, IP coordination, compliance programs, and legal tech.

Applicants must travel up to 10% annually and may participate in on-site interviews. This role will involve cross-functional coordination with teams across the company and adherence to high standards of

Qualifications

• 5+ years in legal operations, senior paralegal, corporate governance, contract ops, or compliance ops.
• Experience with CLM or matter-management systems and contract repositories.
• Experience tracking outside-counsel budgets, invoices, or matter data.
• Strong project management across functions and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential information and work autonomously with leadership awareness.

Responsibilities

• Own Legal intake, triage, matter tracking, workflow administration, and status reporting.
• Identify opportunities to replace repetitive manual work with standardized workflows or automation.
• Own CLM and lead requirements gathering for future legal tech.
• Maintain corporate records, governance calendars, and support board meetings and filings.
• Maintain a consolidated compliance calendar covering policies, training, audits, and reviews.
• Coordinate compliance projects across Legal, Security, Engineering, Product, Finance, People.
• Support SOC 2, CMMC, privacy, AI governance initiatives.
• Maintain policy inventories, version histories, and employee acknowledgments.
• Train employees on Legal systems and workflows.
