Job summary

Xometry is seeking an experienced Legal Operations Manager to lead legal operations, corporate governance, and global subsidiary management from its Maryland location. You will draft policies, implement AI-enabled tools, and manage filings and governance across states and subsidiaries.

Ideal candidates bring 5–7+ years in corporate environments and strong research, communication, and confidentiality skills. Excellent organization and collaboration with executives are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 5–7+ years of experience with at least 3 years in a corporate environment.
• 2–4 years in corporate compliance or as a paralegal.
• Experience leveraging AI-driven tools to streamline legal operations and compliance workflows.
• Excellent research, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational skills and reliability.
• In-house experience is a plus; familiarity with governance and filings is helpful.
• Familiarity with online search tools, databases, portals; ability to work with executives and board members.
• Experience redlining documents in Word and Adobe; working knowledge of Word, Excel, Adobe, DocuSign.
• Certifications in compliance (CIPP, PMP, CLM, CLOM) or paralegal certificates are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Leading legal operations initiatives including CLM, matter management, budgets, and legal tech.
• Identifying and implementing AI tools to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
• Overseeing annual report filings and foreign qualifications for Xometry subsidiaries.
• Managing domestic subsidiary matters: formation, dissolution, governance documents, minute books.
• Drafting policies aligning with Code of Conduct and compliance requirements.
• Monitoring compliance activities and supporting investigations.
• Supporting Privacy, Export/Import, AI and other compliance teams.
• Managing department reporting, metrics, and workload dashboards.
• Performing legal research and maintaining corporate files; providing admin support.
