Job summary

State Street is seeking an expert to lead its Global Legal Entity Governance team, shaping governance frameworks and lifecycle management for entities worldwide. The role requires transforming complex structures into clear operating principles and delivering sustainable process improvements.

The leader will partner with Legal, Risk, Compliance, Finance, and business units, overseeing data governance, regulatory compliance, and technology-enabled entity management solutions at a global scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (e.g., JD, MBA, or equivalent) is a plus.
• 15+ years directly relevant experience in legal entity management/ subsidiary governance; experience within a global financial services organization is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Diligent Entities legal entity management platform and similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead Global Legal Entity Governance team and drive the strategy.
• Define and execute the Global Legal Entity Governance strategy.
• Oversee entity data management and governance across the enterprise.
• Drive adoption of technology-enabled solutions and establish clear accountability models.
