Job summary

Macquarie is seeking a Senior Cyber Threat Incident Response Lead to guide a global team of investigators and responders. You will oversee lifecycle management of incidents, coordinate high-severity responses, and drive security operations improvements across platforms.

You will partner with senior stakeholders and shape capabilities to strengthen cyber resilience in a complex, regulated enterprise.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years in technology and/or cyber security with leadership experience in global enterprises.
• Proven ability to build and mentor high-performing security teams.
• Deep expertise in managing end-to-end incident response and major incident escalations.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to communicate security metrics to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global Threat Investigation and Incident Response function across regions.
• Oversee the incident response lifecycle and high-severity cyber incidents.
• Drive improvements to security operations processes and platform capabilities.
• Partner with senior stakeholders and develop team capability for strategic initiatives.
