Job summary

Macquarie Group seeks an Investigations and Response Operations Lead for Cyber Threat Incident Response. You will lead a global team, oversee incident response lifecycles, manage high‑severity cyber incidents, and drive improvements across security operations.

The role emphasizes partnering with senior stakeholders, developing team capability, and aligning security operations with regulatory and business needs in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ of experience in technology and/or cyber security, including 3+ years’ of leadership experience within global enterprise organisations.
• Strong experience developing high‑performing teams through mentoring, technical training, cyber simulation exercises and cross‑training programmes.
• Deep expertise managing the end‑to‑end incident response lifecycle, major incident escalations and global follow‑the‑sun operating models.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global Threat Investigation and Incident Response function, managing a team of investigators across regions.
• Oversee the incident response lifecycle and drive improvements to security operations processes and platforms.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to translate cyber threats and operational metrics into business outcomes.
