Job summary

Shipco Transport Inc. is seeking an LCL Export Customer Service Coordinator at our CHI/Franklin Park, IL office. You will support customers with bookings, quotes, pickups, and general transportation questions in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates bring at least 3 years in LCL export customer service or operations, preferably with NVOCC experience, strong data entry and communication skills, and the ability to coordinate across time zones with global partners.

Qualifications

3+ years in LCL ocean export customer service/ops preferred.
Experience from NVOCC or VOCC preferred; other freight forwarders considered.
Strong data entry and communication skills.
Ability to coordinate across time zones and with global partners.

Responsibilities

Assist customers with bookings, quotes, pickups, and general transportation-related questions.
Ensure Inland Pickups are followed through, and Inland Transportation agreements are met.
Reach out to overseas offices and agents for hazardous and other required approvals.
Troubleshooting between customers and Shipco/Agent offices.
Ensure that shipments processed are in compliance with US Export laws and regulations.
Other duties as assigned.
