Job summary

Planet is seeking a Senior Analyst, International Trade Compliance to manage export/import licensing and compliance across a global footprint. You will work with engineering, supply chain, IT, security, and external counsel to mitigate risks and enable compliant global trade operations.

The role focuses on ITAR/EAR compliance, sanctions, and anti-bribery/anti-corruption, with responsibilities spanning policy development, licensing, and stakeholder coordination.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in international trade compliance, legal, or contracting.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Strong negotiation, problem solving, and communication skills.
• Experience reading and applying ITAR/EAR.

Responsibilities

• Interpret ITAR/EAR regulations for Planet operations.
• Manage export/import authorizations lifecycle for global operations.
• Conduct export/import training and guidance for stakeholders.
• Interface with U.S. government agencies on trade compliance.
• Develop and implement export control policies and procedures.
• Review and approve international shipment requests.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts on export classifications.
• Prepare/file CJ, CC, and advisory opinions as needed.
• Negotiate export/import matters with internal/external stakeholders.
• Support audits, investigations, and corrective actions.
