Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager for IT Digital Transformation initiatives with global, enterprise-wide impact. You will lead technology programs transforming IT and business through process efficiencies, data and AI, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

You will manage cross-functional teams across IT and business units, handling scope, budgets, risks, and stakeholder communications, while driving PMO practices and enterprise-wide program governance.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of progressive IT project or program management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• Experience managing large-scale IT projects (digital transformation, ERP, cloud, enterprise applications).
• Strong proficiency in project management methodologies: Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches.
• Experience with PM tools: ServiceNow SPM, Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet.
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of cross-functional, global IT projects from initiation through delivery.
• Accountable for planning and execution tasks, including, but not limited to, scope, scheduling, budgeting, resource, risk and issue management.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, clear effective status reports, RAID logs, and executive dashboards
• Facilitate project governance, steering committee reviews, and stakeholder communications
• Partner with business and IT leaders to align project objectives with organizational strategy
• Drive cross-functional collaboration across infrastructure, applications, security, and business teams
• Identify, escalation, and resolve project risks, issues, and dependencies proactively
• Proactively engages stakeholders, providing timely, relevant, and transparent project status.
• Produce executive-level program updates as necessary.
• Ensure adherence to IT governance frameworks, change management processes, and compliance requirements
• Contribute to PMO best practices and continuous improvement
• Support portfolio-level reporting and resource capacity planning
