Job summary

Vertiv is seeking an IT PMO Portfolio Manager to lead governance, prioritization, and optimization of the IT portfolio in a dynamic enterprise environment. You will partner with executives to align investments with strategic objectives and manage cross-functional stakeholders across a global organization.

The role emphasizes governance discipline, KPI reporting, and clear visibility into portfolio performance, capacity, and value realization. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in IT portfolio management, governance, or program management.
• Strong portfolio governance, investment prioritization, and benefits tracking.
• Experience partnering with senior leaders on strategic planning and funding decisions.
• Ability to build dashboards and executive-level presentations that distill complex data.
• Familiarity with waterfall, agile, and hybrid delivery methods.
• Excellent facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
• Global organization experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically/internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end IT portfolio governance: demand intake, business case review, prioritization, stage-gate reviews, and reporting.
• Partner with executives to align IT portfolio with strategic objectives and constraints.
• Facilitate portfolio review boards and prioritization forums; ensure decisions are documented.
• Maintain portfolio management standards, policies, templates, and controls.
• Monitor portfolio performance via KPIs, dashboards, and executive reports.
• Identify portfolio risks, bottlenecks, and cross-program dependencies; raise governance recommendations.
• Support resource and capacity planning by highlighting constraints and sequencing options.
• Promote transparency and data quality across the organization.
