Job summary

Zones is seeking a Project Manager II to lead technology deployment projects from planning through closeout. You will ensure delivery across schedule, scope, budget, and customer communication, working with internal teams and customer stakeholders in a dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of PM experience in tech/operations, strong leadership, and excellent communication. PMI principles guide risk, issues, and workflow improvement in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• PMP, ITIL or equivalent Certification preferred.
• 5+ years of project management experience in a technology or operations environment.
• Experience leading multiple small to mid-sized projects and teams.
• Ability to take ambiguous requirements, investigate, and develop strategy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a project that entails replacing POS systems at name brand retail locations.
• Create effective weekly schedules for multiple sites that support goals and delivery timelines.
• Develop workflows for Project Manager and Project Coordinator to minimize duplication and be efficient.
• Own project financial management by creating accurate forecasts and tracking costs/revenue.
• Manage risks, issues, and RAID items with proactive mitigation and root-cause analysis.
• Create and provide weekly status reports when requested.
