Job summary

FLSmidth is seeking an IT Onsite Support Specialist to provide hands-on Level 2 IT support at assigned business locations, acting as the local extension of Global IT teams. You will resolve hardware/software issues, maintain site readiness, manage assets, and assist with onboarding/offboarding while coordinating with remote teams and vendors.

The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years of IT support experience, strong knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365, and a user-focused mindset to deliver

Qualifications

3–5 years of IT support or desktop support experience.
Experience providing onsite enterprise IT support for hardware and software issues.
Strong knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, mobile devices, printers, and workplace technology.
Understanding of basic networking concepts, cabling and network equipment.
Experience with ITSM tools, preferably ServiceNow, and IT asset management processes.
Knowledge of asset lifecycle management and CMDB principles.
Excellent English communication; local language skills helpful.
Ability to work independently on-site and take ownership of issues through resolution.

Responsibilities

Deliver Level 2 onsite support for hardware, software, connectivity, mobile devices, printers, meeting rooms, and workplace technology.
Resolve incidents and service requests through ServiceNow while meeting SLAs and documenting tickets clearly.
Maintain site IT readiness for end-user devices, meeting room tech, printers, and network equipment.
Perform hands-on activities for Global IT teams, including installation, replacement, troubleshooting, cabling, and rack-and-stack.
Manage IT assets and inventory, including receiving, deployment, recovery, stock management, audits, and lifecycle activities.
Support onboarding and offboarding by deploying, recovering, reimaging, and securing IT equipment.
Coordinate with remote IT teams and vendors for complex issues and external resources.
