Astreya is seeking an Inventory Technician in Oakland, CA to manage inventory and IT assets, support a large, global user base, and ensure smooth deployment and maintenance of hardware and conference room systems.

The role emphasizes proactive problem solving, strong customer focus, and collaboration across teams, with opportunities to influence regional operations and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 8+ years’ related experience or equivalent combo of education/experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Ability to work in a large team with minimal supervision.
• Capable of providing an outstanding user experience.
• Knowledge of Inventory and IT.
• Ability to excel in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to make sound decisions amid competing priorities.
• Results oriented and can lead a site or small region with vendor/budget awareness.

Responsibilities

• Handle inventory and asset management, conference room preventative maintenance, and e-recycling.
• Support a complex, fast paced environment focused on video conference rooms with strong customer satisfaction.
• Ensure audio/visual quality, troubleshoot issues, and handle attendee requests.
• Deploy and recover laptop/desktop images.
• Provide customer support for 70,000+ users worldwide from IT accessories to workstation dressing.
• Use ticketing systems to report accomplishments and track SLAs.
• Utilize Inventory Data management software to maintain accuracy and workflow.
• Contribute to large scale global projects as needed.
• Other duties as required.
