Job summary

GTN Solutions GmbH is seeking an IT Asset Manager to own and continuously improve the global IT Asset Management process across hardware, cloud and software lifecycles.

You will manage procurement, deployment, tracking, recovery, reuse and disposal of IT assets while maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with licensing and security requirements. The role requires strong data analytics and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of IT asset management experience.
• Expertise in ITAM frameworks, controls and lifecycle practices.
• Working knowledge of ITIL practices.
• Experience using procurement tools and policies in ServiceNow, Intune, ABM, Oracle.
• Strong data analysis, reporting and dashboard skills.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and align across functions.
• Ability to translate governance requirements into clear process docs.
• Experience working under strict SLAs and structured service management.
• Willingness to participate in rotating schedules across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve the global IT Asset Management process across hardware, cloud and software lifecycles.
• Manage the procurement, deployment, tracking, recovery, reuse and disposal of IT assets.
• Define ITAM policies, standards, controls, roles and workflows aligned with ITIL.
• Maintain accurate asset, supplier, contract and software licence records.
• Track budgets, leases, depreciation, expenses and disposals, and reconcile asset data with Finance.
• Monitor licensing, security and audit compliance, and lead corrective actions when needed.
• Set KPIs and dashboards to report on asset performance, compliance, service levels and optimization opportunities.
• Partner with IT, Finance, Procurement, Security, Legal and business teams to drive governance and accountability.
• Manage vendors, request quotes and support global sourcing plans and technology standards.
• Coordinate ITAM dependencies with Configuration, Incident, Change and Information Security processes.
• Provide clear guidance, training and timely escalation to support teams, stakeholders and end users.
