Job summary

EssilorLuxottica seeks a Director of Inventory Accounting for the North America Professional Solutions business (US200). You will lead the inventory accounting team, ensuring accurate reporting, and strengthening internal controls and systems.

You will train staff, collaborate with stores, distribution centers, labs, and partners in France, Italy and New York, and drive strategic inventory projects and external audits. Strong IFRS expertise and leadership are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of accounting experience.
• Experience with IFRS and internal controls.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP).
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure IFRS compliance and internal controls within inventory accounting.
• Partner with stores, distribution centers, labs, finance, shared services, and corporate offices in France, Italy, and New York.
• Continuously improve accounting processes, systems, and controls.
• Train and develop associates to meet organizational needs.
• Communicate risks, opportunities, and status to management and stakeholders.
• Manage external audits to ensure timely completion and resolution of issues.
• Develop financial reports and schedules as requested.
• Lead strategic inventory projects and system transformations related to inventory accounting.
